KEEP YOUR RED ROCK HATS IN TIP-TOP SHAPE TO ENJOY FOR A LONG TIME

Easy steps to clean and maintain your leather, suede, and canvas hats.

SUEDE RED ROCK HATS

Regular maintenance keeps the suede clean and prevents matting of the suede nap.

Brush suede hats to remove dust and dirt. Use talcum powder to remove oily stains. Dry stains can be treated with a suede eraser. Treat the matted suede nap with a fine sandpaper (120 grit).

Sweat stains can be treated with a mild detergent solution and a suede brush. Rinse with a damp cloth and let it air dry. Use a brush to restore the nap.

Moisture causes suede hats to shrink. Dry completely before storing. If your Red Rock hat is not already water-proofed, use a suede-specific waterproofing spray.

CANVAS RED ROCK HATS

Regularly brush off dust and dirt with a soft brush to prevent staining the fabric.

Treat small stains by using a sponge with warm water and mild detergent solutions. Rinse with clean water and air dry. This method can also be used to clean the sweatband. Fold up the band, place a towel under it, and clean with a sponge.

For tough stains and to clean the whole hat, submerge the hat in a mild detergent solution. Let it soak, treat each heavy stain, rinse, and dry. This method also works for heavy sweat stains. Wash the hat as often as needed to prevent sweat buildup and discoloration. Do NOT machine wash.

The hat must be completely dry to store. Use a fabric or paper bag to keep dust off. Store Red Rock hats flat on their brims.

Canvas hats can be waterproofed to protect against moisture. Use canvas-specific products, follow instructions, and test before applying.
