The tightly woven palm leaf construction provides excellent UPF 50+ sun protection, it blocks harmful UV rays during beach days, gardening, travel, and outdoor activities. A wide 4" brim offers generous coverage, while the 2" band creates a secure, comfortable fit with a clean, structured look.

A soft suede chin strap with a wooden bead keeps the visor in place on breezy days, adding a natural, artisanal touch. Inside, a ribbon inner band enhances comfort for extended wear.

These beautiful and stylish Tula hats are made of natural palm fibers and are handcrafted in Mexico by local artisans. Excellent hat. Looks very becoming and well made. Ribbon is sewn on the hat, not glued! Arrived nicely packaged too. I made an error in my shipping address and immediately contacted the company. The size of the hat was close enough that I could wear it. I added some tape inside the hat band to make the fit. You need to provide sizes in the hat.

Even Better Than I Hoped

This hat is tightly woven and extremely comfortable. Far better quality than other similar hats I looked at and rejected out of fear they would not hold up. I have no doubt this hat will last thru several seasons and I am not easy on straw hats. I was advised that palm straw would outlast regular grass-straw and I am convinced this is a superior material. But, be honest about fit. Get a tailors tape and actually measure your noggin. I ordered L/XL based on measuring 58cm and the fit is perfect. If I had gone smaller it would definitely be too tight. So actually take the measurements seriously and you will end up with a very good fit.

I haven't worn my hat yet but I am thrilled with the quality and the fit (XXS is very difficult to find).
The fact that it is water resistant and offers UPF 50+ sun protection are added bonuses.

Loved wearing this in Florida. Brim good size from shopping to beach. I packed rolled clothing in the crown, put in suitcases first and carefully filled the rest of case with with shoes and clothes. Perfect size for travel and goes with all outfits. Cut and comfy with chinstrap for windy days and vents for hot days😍 I bought a size S

Love it

The extra wide brim and the tipped front keeps the sun out of your eyes when the sun is sinking low in the sky. The elastic headband is always a perfect fit. It’s so comfortable and the chinstrap means it stays in place with high winds. I love the look of the hat too.

Nice hat, size fits well

The hat is nice overall, just as described and what I was looking for. The size XXL fits well for a 61cm head as mentioned. Seems well made. I didn't like the string dangling down so my partner took it out and wove it into a braid on the top instead; looks great.

2nd time around

This is my second Tula hat. The first one endured a lot of abuse, including being sat on and crushed in a suitcase. It’s still looks good! I bought this one because it has a wider brim. Think it will do the trick looks good and puts up with a lot.

Ordered the XXL, my hat size is a 7 3/4. Hat was tight. I removed internal band and added cork pads (Amazon) to adjust.
