Chin Strap for Hats with Sweatbands

This chin strap works with any hat that has a sweatband. It’s the perfect solution for hats that don’t already have a strap—no need to MacGyver your own with string or shoelaces! It’s easy to attach and just as easy to remove when you don’t need it.

What’s included:

  • 1 braided cord with metal tips

  • 2 spring-style anchors

How to attach it:

  1. Lift the sweatband inside your hat.

  2. Slide the center arm of the anchor between the hat and the sweatband. If the stitching is loose enough, the anchor can slip through a stitch.

  3. Pull the metal tip of the cord through the anchor, then turn it sideways so it stays in place.

  4. If your hat has grommets (small metal holes) on the sides, you can use the anchors to position the strap in the center.

Sadly band stitching is too tight . Instructions could be better. Nice otherwise

Unfortunately my hat band stitching is very tight and I can't use it, but it's a nice concept. . A YouTube video should be on the site, because the installation drawing is too crudely drawn to show the direction of the loop (it should aim away from your neck. )
But you are supposed to stick the 1/4" wide loop between stitching of my hat bands but my hats are either too tight for this or already have chin straps

Hi there, thanks for sharing this detailed feedback. We’re sorry the stitching was too tight to fit your hats and that the installation drawing wasn’t clear. Your suggestion for a YouTube video and clearer loop-direction guidance is helpful, and we’ll share it with our team. We’re glad you liked the concept and appreciate you letting us know where we can improve.
