Black Friday | Cyber Monday Deals

Did you know that the term "Black Friday" originated in Philadelphia in the 1950's. The Philadelphia police department call it Black Friday due to the long and busy shifts caused by tons of visitors arriving in town for the annual Army/Navy football game. 

Stores in town, naturally trying to take advantage of the crowd, marked down prices. However, Black Friday sales and shopping only became widespread in the 1980's.

Cyber Monday was coined by the National Retail Federation in 2005. 

Well, now that you are here, we know that you too, rather shop in a quiet room, possibly at work, and not fight the crowd for a 3 a.m. doorbuster.
