View full detailsWe carry a wide range of men's hat styles made to wear on the golf course. Our golf hats are rated for UPF 50+ UV blocking, as sun protection on the fairway is a must. Sun protection hats block harmful UVA and UVB rays and protect your skin from sunburn and sun damage.
1. Ball Caps: preferred by many golfers, caps are the go-to accessory for golf. These caps will shield your eyes from bright sunshine and reduce glare on your glasses. Caps protect the top of the head from sunburn.
2. Golf Visors: are an excellent choice to reduce glare, shade your eyes, and experience the cooling wind. Moisture wicking sweatbands prevent sweat dripping into your eyes. However, golf sun visors provide the least sun protection. Golf visors have pre-curved bills, relatively wide band with hook and loop closures.
3. Gambler Hats: these golf hats have flat crowns and straight brims with a curled-up edge, which creates an elegant look as style matters for the golf course, too. These wider brim hats provide great sun protection for face and ears. Yet the brim is not too wide to interfere with visibility. Available in a variety of lightweight materials, raffia straw, seagrass, and toyo straw in natural, ivory, and white color. Cotton, canvas, and polyester gambler hats are great for cooler weather. These golf hats are rated for UPF 50+ sun protection.
4. Safari Hats: this style is favored on and off the golf course. Fedora-like pinched crown can be vented for air circulation. The downward brim provides excellent sun protection. Though, some safari hats have quite large brims, for golf 2.5" to 3.5" wide brims are best to keep good visibility while you play. Safari style golf hats are made of the widest variety of material to choose from, whether you are looking to protect your skin from harmful UV rays, want to keep annoying bugs away, or keep your head dry in the rain.
5. Flat Caps: this classic style is available in lightweight material for summer, heavier wool felt for colder weather, and water repellent fabrics for rainy days. Made for golf, there is a large selection of colors, patterns and fabric combinations. Similarly to golf caps, flat caps provide sun coverage for the top of your head and shade your eyes.
6. Outback Hats: flat and lower crown hats than safari golf hats. The brim is straight with a slight front to back curve. The front and back of the brim curved down and provides excellent sun protection for the face and neck. The side of the brim is straight / flat, so it will not interfere with visibility and your peripheral vision.
7. Bucket Hats: this old hat style is a popular golf hat. Though, the brim is narrow, its downward shape provides good sun coverage all around. Snug fitting bucket hats stay on comfortably. Most often made of cotton for breathable, moisture wicking, comfortable wear. These golf hats are washable and packable.
8. Boonie Hats: this style combines the benefits of a bucket hat and the outback or gambler hat. Snug fitting hats with wider brims than a bucket hat. Elongated front to back curved brim or straight flat brim. Excellent style for golf when you aim for casual comfort and sun protection. Made of cotton or synthetic performance fabrics with moisture wicking sweatband and cooling technology.
1. Golf Hats with Neck Cape: neck capes provide the excellent sun protection for ears, neck, and shoulders. Boonies, bucket hats and caps are available removable and fold-away neck capes. The cape of a boonie hat can be folded into the underbrim pocket. A golf cap's cape can be folded into a zipper side pocket. Removable neck capes are attached with hook and loop or snaps. A variation of golf hat is a flap bill cap, where the flap is attached to a wide flat 180-degree brim.
2. Golf Hats with Chin Cord: Permanently attached or removable chin cords are a terrific addition on windy days, or sunny days when you want to push the hat back. Chin straps can be wrapped on the back of the brim when you don't need it.
3. Golf Hats with Insect Repellent Treatment: Fantastic way to keep annoying bugs away from your face so you can focus on what is important, like your golf stroke.
4. Soaker Hats for Golf: this innovative technology allows the fabric to be soaked in water, the slowly evaporating water provides a cooling effect for hours.
The choice is yours to select from a wide variety of golf hat options to suit your needs and personality to proudly show off your new golf hat on the golf course. Feeling confident in your new hat might even improve your game.
